A {baby's} cry...

I got to visit my sister this afternoon at the best hospital for delivering babies {IMO} The Christ Hospital!  It was so good to see her and the baby!  I really enjoyed my time visiting with her, I could snuggle with that baby from now till Kingdom come! She was just beautiful!  Sarah said she's nursing very well and Sarah looked a little rested, too!  She's still on clear liquids as she heals from the C-section, but all in all she's recovering well!  I can't wait to see {Baby} Lillie in her home and take some more pictures!!!

Walk for Life 2010

This year Charlie and I participated in our very first Walk for Life! It was not only our first Walk for Life, but our first walk for anything at all!! It was rainy, but remarkable! 93.3 WAKW was there, as was Steve Chabot and the President of Pregnancy Care of Cincinnati! Our goal was $50k and we raised $46k! 2 young women who have been helped by Pregnancy Care spoke to the crowd and it was so touching. I was crying during Mr. Chabot's prayer before our walk...

Here are some of the pictures of our amazing day!

Charlie loves balloons!

I love his shy look! He's only shy for a minute!

I really like this picture. My Baby is Pro-Life right next to my Little Miracle!

The whole reason for the walk, Friendship Life Ministries, and Pregnancy Care of Cincinnati!
For isn't life the greatest choice of all?

Mr. Steve Chabot!! It was wonderful meeting him and I can't wait to cast my vote for him this November!

The President of Pregnancy Care of Cincinnati and Kelly St. James, radio host on 93.3 WAKW. The music was great, the food was catered by Funky Catering and it was super delish!

Here's our group walking! (From the left) Mrs. Sharon Jackson, our Pastor's wife, Mr. and Mrs. Warman, the Directors of our Friendship Life Ministries, their daughter Becky and her two sons Andrew and Isaac, Jill Foust my super awesome walking partner, and of course, Me and Charlie! The person taking the picture is also a Director of FLM, Clara Dalton! Thanks Clara!!!

During the walking it began to rain! I forgot the umbrella's in the Trailblazer so half way through the walk we got a little drenched! But, luckily I brought a blanket for Charlie (Jeff's baby blanket!) and he wouldn't let it loose!

After a short while the rain subsided and Charlie got to really participate! He was so much fun to watch and all the ladies loved him!

"What's this Mom?" Charlie seemed to say. "This is a puddle Charlie! Go tap dance in the puddle!!!"

So he did! And did so to every puddle we came to! :O)

Charlie is a Little Miracle for sure! Every baby is!!!

I really enjoyed walking with Charlie~
rain or shine!

Some Moore Fun Times!

Just some fun times we've had the past week or so... :)

Family Photo #1

Family Photo #2 (i hate slouching- not the best of me)

Charlie swinging on a big swing!

Having fun in the baby swings with Lambchops!!!

I love how their eyes meet in this picture!!

Snails eye view! Charlie is soaring high!!!

A friend of ours, Randi (expecting her 1st baby!!) cut Jeff and Charlie's hair today!
And of course Charlie did not like it...

So we tried a binki...

Then we sang "if your happy and you know it"...it seemed to help...

Until we stopped singing...

"Enough with the apron!"

It was past nap time and so the floods began!

Still crying...

Crying even harder...

Charlie does not like hair cuts. Unless you are singing to him. I  do not have an arsenal song list programmed in my mind just yet- but I am learning that it is vital! :)

  Have a great weekend everybody!!!

Once there was a Mommy and a Baby Boy...

So it was just a boring Thursday afternoon. I worked this morning and after Charlie's afternoon nap we decided to "play". I felt in the mood to take some pictures- I don't have really any pictures of Charlie and I from when he was a baby. Something I wish I would have been able to have...so I try and make up for it now; besides, he was in a good mood! (Which is the norm for him but not of late). So, here are a few pictures we took today! :)

One day there was a Mommy and a Baby Boy.

And they loved each other very very much!!!!

The Baby Boy's favorite thing to do was play and kiss Mommy!

And Mommy's favorite thing to do was kiss the Baby Boy!

The Baby Boy was thoughtful as he helped Mommy hide the mail...

Then the Baby Boy showed Mommy his truck shirt and they played hats!

The Baby Boy was more of a Big Boy as he was already learning to drive!

Mommy's favorite thing about Baby Boy was his big, blue eyes- which he got from her!

And finally Baby Boy ended the play date with a run to the fridge! :)
The End.

These pictures made me think of a "Mommy and Me" book- so that was my inspiration and as you can tell, there wasn't much of a storyline in terms of plot, main idea and conclusion- but the characters were pretty nice! ;)

We're off tomorrow to Nashville, TN to visit from friends. Dr's appt tomorrow morning, hair cuts for my men and then the drive to Tenn! :) Busy day tomorrow but I can't WAIT for dinner at Demos'! Yum Yum!

I'm sure I'll have some more later!!! :)
